So beautiful, love how you have framed it! :)
Lovely, glad to see Spring is there at last (as it is here, finally).

I was thinking of you today and your recent posts as I read an article about Seoul in the magazine that came with last weekend's edition of the International Herald Tribune. It took me a while (and apparently the Trib is behind the times, literally. Ha!) but I found a link to the article in the New York Times from 22 March. Exciting times for Seoul in many ways! I may just have to put it on my Must Visit list. http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/03/22/the-reincarnation-of-seoul/

Emma- Thank you!- I had to take quite a few before I got one I liked!

NVG- Yes, it's been a looooong winter for both of us this year, hasn't it? Here's to an equally long and lovely spring!

Stacy - This is a great article - am definitely going to share! It really is true, too. When I found out we were moving to Seoul, my mental picture was something from M.A.S.H. - sort of a broken-down, war-torn country, maybe a few skyscrapers. What I found was a vibrant, world-class city full of cutting-edge technology that it will kill me to leave - and the article's correct - the FOOD! The restaurant they mention, Vatos, is actually co-owned by a guy from San Antonio. It is known in town as the hands-down best Mexican (ish) food in the city and it is nearly impossible to get a table on weekends without a reservation. The crazy mix of Tex-Mex with Korean is a huge hit(kimchi fries are to die for) - you'd love it! And of course - they are the only ones in town who can make a proper Margarita...thanks again for the link - and the thoughts!

Kim chi fries! Kind of like salt and vinegar chips in England, but spicy! I think I WOULD love it! The whole city sounds fabulous, in fact.
